The Forbidden Garden

Privacy Supplement — The Forbidden Garden

This notice supplements and does not replace the existing Shopify privacy policy published for the storefront. Read both notices together.

We use customer information reasonably needed to operate the store and fulfill requested offerings, including contact information, order and product details, delivery information for physical orders, customer-support communications, and information a customer chooses to provide in connection with an offering.

We use purchase contact information for transactional communications, including receipts, order updates, digital delivery, membership invitations, and customer support. Making a purchase does not by itself constitute consent to marketing emails. Marketing communications require the applicable separate consent, and marketing messages provide an available unsubscribe method where required.

Shopify supports the storefront, checkout, and order-related records. If the Forbidden Fruit membership workflow is active for a qualifying paid purchase, relevant order information, including the purchaser’s checkout email, may be transmitted from Shopify through Zapier to Skool solely to facilitate the membership invitation. Those providers handle information under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

We may share information as reasonably necessary to operate the store, fulfill an offering, provide support, comply with law, or protect the store and customers. We retain information as reasonably necessary for these purposes and as required or permitted by applicable law. Depending on where a customer lives, the customer may have privacy rights under applicable law. Questions or requests may be sent using the contact information in the Contact Information section.
